We wish you a schmaltzy Christmas!
Got a real nostalgic laugh out of this one. Thank you.
Fantastic tales of your return to Brooklyn...Only been once back in August 2014, but will return 👍
When I saw the picture of the bridge, I instantly thought of the Velvet Fog's version of Sammy Cahn's The Brooklyn Bridge.
Before leaving town we went over the Williamsburg Bridge, which, of course, had me thinking of Sonny Rollins.
Good call.
I just listened to Mel T singing The Brooklyn Bridge, and can’t believe I’d never heard it before! Great song!
It's off his 1963 album Mel Tormé Sings Sunday in New York & Other Songs About New York. Check it out. I've also liked his "There's a Broken Heart for Every Light on Broadway" from that album.
